If you would like amazing show stopping make-up without the stress and hassle of trying to do it yourself, then why don't you try a professional make-up artist. There are plenty around and not as expensive as you would think. Von Make-up artist from Manchester is my favourite, very talented and multi skilled.  I have had the pleasure of working with her a few times and she never fails to disappoint; she is fast, efficient and very professional. She is highly trained in sfx theatrical make-up, media, editorial and bridal.
To get a quote on Halloween make-up or anything else all you have to do is message her, there is nothing I'm sure she can't do. Here are some examples of her work and a link to her Facebook page.

If you are not in the Manchester area then have a look for one in your local area. Here are just a few that I found to save you the trouble.
Also have a look to see if the local college or University has a make up department as students will always be willing to do at cost, cheap or free makeovers to help boost their portfolio.

Halloween make up done easy

Where not all as creative or as cleaver as professional make up artists. Remember these people have spent a long time practising and training. However nobody knows your face better than you so try not to over strain yourself by trying to copy professional images off the Internet. Instead just follow some of these easy tips for simple Halloween make up and add them to your usual party make up routine.

Cat Make up
Do your face base make up as you usually would for a night out then highlight your brows if you usually do, if you don't then get a slanted eyeshadow brush and a Matt brown eye shadow, lightly drag the brush through the shadow and trace lightly over your brows working from the inside out.
If you're quite confident with applying eyeshadow try a dark grey as a base with a white shadow blended from the inner corner of the eye outward. Then put your black liner on the bottom as you usually would. Using a black liquid liner put a small dot on the outside of the eye on either side, this will be a guide for your flicks to match. To draw you top liner start at the inner corner and work your way out toward your mark.
If you feel you might make several mistakes do the liner first then the shadow, then top up the liner again for definition and density of colour.
Put 3 dots on either cheek with the black liner then use the same line to draw 3 whiskers on each cheek near the dots.
Use the black liner to draw a triangle on the end of the nose and colour in, then colour in around the nostril area. To finish draw a line from the middle of the nose to the top lip then trace around the top tip with you black liner and colour in.
Finish with mascara.
Here are a few examples.

If you feel extra brave try adding some lashes, diamantes or sparkle dust.

The cat costume-
Very simple, easy to put together and cost effective. All you need is some black leggings (all ladies own at least one pair) and a black vest top or crop top. Pair these together with a tail and ears set from Claire's accessorise and a pay of killer black heals and you have one simple and sexy outfit.
Here are some examples of cost and where to buy from.

Cat set from Claire's for £10

If you already own a black vest top or crop top and leggings then the total cost of this outfit should be £10.
If you want to put a cheeky tutu on with tights instead of leggings then Claire's do a couple for you to choose from.
Black nett tutu £10
Black glitter tutu with marabou cats tail £14. As this one has a cats tail you could just buy the cats ears like these pink clip in ones also from Claire's for £3 or the cats ears on a hairband for £4.50.

Claire's also do a variety of accessorise for you to team together to make you outfit extra special. I have put together just a few for you.
